You asked for it, you got it! A Christmas Card Stamp-a-Stack at “Gail’s Rubber Room” (my dining room /living room)! It’s your chance to get a head start on those Christmas cards & have a fun Saturday stamping to celebrate National Card Making Day. What could be better? Oh yeah, great snacks to get you in the holiday mood, hahahaaa! You can count on those, too, of course.

We’ll make 10 each of 2 designs. Everything will be pre-cut & pre-scored for you, so assembly is a breeze. One card will feature the GORGEOUS “Holiday Harmony” double-sided designer paper from the Holiday Mini and also some of that yummy double-stitched Purely Pomegranate ribbon! The other card will be for the traditionalists among us — bright, traditional holiday colors featuring the level II hostess set “Perfect Presentation.” A little teaser . . . check back next week for samples

Oh, I am in LOVE! With a new stamp set, that is The “True Friend” set from the Holiday Mini is absolutely my new favorite. I’m using it for EVERYTHING; friend cards, birthday cards, & even one of the Christmas cards for the Stamp-a-Stack I have coming up on October 6th!

For this card I used a new technique I saw recently — a “Milkpaint” background. It’s so easy, & I really have a thing for the distressed look so I have a feeling I’m going to be milkpainting everything, hahaha!

For the milkpaint technique you just pick a color of cardstock for background, swipe your Very Vanilla Craft Ink pad over the background paper, heat set it, then take a classic ink pad in the matching color to your background paper & swipe it over the heat-set vanilla. Easy as pie, you have what looks like weathered wood. Gorgeous!
