True Friend Card with Milkpaint Technique
Oh, I am in LOVE! With a new stamp set, that is 
The “True Friend” set from the Holiday Mini is absolutely my new favorite. I’m using it for EVERYTHING; friend cards, birthday cards, & even one of the Christmas cards for the Stamp-a-Stack I have coming up on October 6th!
For this card I used a new technique I saw recently — a “Milkpaint” background. It’s so easy, & I really have a thing for the distressed look so I have a feeling I’m going to be milkpainting everything, hahaha!
For the milkpaint technique you just pick a color of cardstock for background, swipe your Very Vanilla Craft Ink pad over the background paper, heat set it, then take a classic ink pad in the matching color to your background paper & swipe it over the heat-set vanilla. Easy as pie, you have what looks like weathered wood. Gorgeous!
